Design, materials & build quality
HG 02 was the first Gatech speed gate to be specified by interior architects — that pedigree shows in every detail. Brushed AISI 304 stainless steel pylons with internal stiffening and concealed cable channels. 10 mm tempered glass top cover as standard; optional 20 mm natural granite top for a high-end stone-finish look. Tempered or polycarbonate wings tested against luggage trolleys and accidental impacts. Anti-fingerprint coating keeps the pylons looking new even in heavy public use. RAL powder-coat finish available across the full RAL palette for project-specific colours.
Customisation & branding
Make the HG 02 yours — the entrance is the first place every member sees your brand. Glass-panel logo printing with UV-stable ceramic ink for permanent brand visibility. Programmable RGB LED scenes — brand colours by day, gentle accents by night, holiday themes on demand. Granite top in any natural stone for a hospitality-grade design statement. Pylons in any RAL colour with matching corner profiles, top edges and warning labels. Custom decals and pictograms in your language and corporate font, supplied as standard.
Integration & access control
HG 02 plays well with every major access stack used in the Nordic and EU fitness industries. Open hardware interface: dry contact, RS485 and Wiegand 26/34 outputs as standard, optional TCP/IP and OSDP. Universal reader compatibility: Mifare DESFire, EM 125 kHz, Bluetooth Low Energy, QR and biometric (fingerprint or face) readers can be mounted in any combination. Pre-built integrations with major Nordic gym-management platforms — usually a one-day commissioning job. Fail-safe fire-alarm integration: wings retract automatically and remain open until the alarm is reset. Open API and event streams for occupancy analytics, peak-time dashboards and custom integrations.
Operating environment & durability
HG 02 is designed and qualified for the Nordic climate — wet entrances in autumn, freezing porches in January, warm lobbies in July. IP44 indoor standard; optional IP54 sealed kit for semi-outdoor and weather-exposed entrances. Operating temperature -20 °C to +68 °C; optional integrated heater package extends range down to -50 °C. Humidity rating 95 % non-condensing — suitable for swimming-pool entrances and steam-room corridors. Sealed electronics enclosure withstands daily floor-washing and aggressive cleaning chemicals. UV-stable powder coat means painted finishes stay vibrant under direct sunlight.

Ten years of HG 02 deployments across the Nordics have produced a service model focused on uptime, fast diagnostics and easy field maintenance. 5 million-cycle mechanical service life — well over a decade of continuous operation in a typical 24/7 club. 2-year manufacturer warranty as standard, extendable up to 5 years with a Gatech service contract. Remote diagnostics: our engineers can read fault codes, run self-tests and reset the controller without a site visit. Spare-parts stock in our European warehouse with next-day delivery across the Nordics and the EU. Field-engineer training available so your facility team can handle Tier-1 service in-house.
