Speed Gate Denia — quiet, design-led entrance for retail
Denia is the speed gate for entrances where the architect specifies the door. 0.6 s cycle, brushed AISI 304 pylons, full-height tempered glass — controls flow without dominating the interior. Specified for Arctic Q boutique in Helsinki.
Results
The boutique got an entrance that disappears into the architecture: brushed steel pylons read as part of the fixture system, the 0.6-second glass cycle keeps the floor flow uninterrupted, and the 6-pair anti-tailgating matrix protects the unstaffed evening hours. Stock loss at the door dropped to zero. Reception staff stopped policing the entrance and went back to client work — that alone covers the gate inside the first year.
