Servo-controlled rotation with closed-loop feedback eliminates the slam and clack of cheap mechanical tripods. Oil-bath bearings and hardened steel arms survive five million rotation cycles in continuous public use. 0.5-second cycle supports a sustained 30–35 people per minute throughput in bidirectional mode. On-board controller with diagnostic LEDs and event log; faults can be read by any service technician in seconds. 30 W peak power consumption — efficient enough for 24/7 operation with negligible electricity overhead.
Safety & emergency operation
GT-50 is built to fail safe — exactly when fail-safe matters most. Drop-arm safety: the arms drop automatically on power loss or fire alarm, leaving the corridor completely open for emergency egress. Fire-alarm dry-contact input integrates with any standard alarm panel. Anti-passback logic stops members from sharing the same card. Tamper detection on the casing raises an alarm if the unit is opened without authorisation. Smooth servo motion protects users from sudden mechanical motion and bruises.
User experience & flow
A tripod is the simplest gate a member can use — and GT-50 makes it feel premium. 30–35 people/min throughput in bidirectional mode handles peak hours at any 24/7 club. LED arrows on top of the head give a clear, unmistakable green/red feedback for every passage. Compact 280 mm footprint fits narrow reception areas without rebuilding the entrance. Whisper-quiet servo measured below 38 dB at one metre — appropriate for libraries, offices and apartment lobbies. Optional voice prompts guide first-time visitors in the language of their card.
Design, materials & build quality
The GT-50 is the affordable tripod that doesn't look affordable. Brushed AISI 304 stainless-steel housing resists fingerprints and looks premium for years. Hardened steel arms stay straight after years of public use. Anti-fingerprint surface treatment minimises cleaning effort. Reinforced internal frame ensures the housing keeps its shape under heavy use. RAL powder-coat finish available for projects requiring custom colours.

The GT-50 is designed to keep working in cold, humid, dusty Nordic entrances. IP54 protection handles wet floors, spilt drinks and aggressive cleaning chemicals. Operating temperature -20 °C to +60 °C; suitable for unheated entrances and cold lobbies. Sealed bearings and electronics enclosure protect from dust and condensation.
