Description
What the GT-33 is good at
The GT-33 covers the combination of requirements that no standard speed gate can meet: full-height physical barrier with a passage wide enough for wheelchair users, loading equipment and large groups moving through in a controlled flow. At up to 1200 mm clear passage, it handles any accessibility requirement without a separate parallel lane. The acrylic panels run floor to ceiling, which closes off the bypass routes that standard waist-height speed gates leave open on both sides. The panel mass means opening speed is slightly slower than a waist-height gate, which is an expected characteristic of the format rather than a performance limitation. For any site where the brief includes both 1200 mm passage width and full-height physical security, the GT-33 is the appropriate product. It keeps the entrance looking clean and open rather than institutional, which suits corporate lobbies and premium fitness facilities as well as high-security environments.
Security
Full-height acrylic panels from floor to ceiling eliminate the bypass routes available on either side of a standard waist-height speed gate. One authorisation allows one person through per cycle. Infrared sensors monitor the passage throughout the opening cycle and reverse the panels immediately on detection of an obstacle, so the panels cannot close on anyone in the passage. Tailgating and reverse-direction entry trigger an alarm. On power loss or fire alarm the panels open automatically for free egress.
User experience
At 35 to 50 persons per minute the GT-33 handles peak-hour entry volumes at gyms, corporate lobbies and public facilities without queuing. RGB LED indicators show passage status on both sides. The 600 to 1200 mm configurable passage width means the gate can be ordered to match the entrance corridor width precisely rather than adapting the corridor to a fixed gate dimension. Anti-passback support prevents the same credential from being used twice in succession without an exit event in between.
Integration & customisation
Connects to any access control system over dry contact or RS485. Compatible with RFID, QR, barcode, face recognition and remote control credentials. Passage width configurable from 600 to 1200 mm to match the installation. Frame available in standard powder coat with custom RAL colours on request. Single or bi-directional operation selectable.
Durability & environment
Designed for indoor use. Rated for -20 to +55 degrees Celsius and up to 90 percent humidity non-condensing, covering unheated entrance halls and facilities with regular wet cleaning. Brushless motor drive reduces mechanical wear and lowers long-term maintenance requirements.
